St. James Park Road Nursery has its home in a large Victorian building opposite St. James Park in Shirley, Southampton. Opened in 1976, the Nursery has over the years established a reputation for providing top quality nursery care.

In January 2007 we opened a new Baby and Toddler Unit to provide for the needs of the very youngest children.

We have 40 children up to 5 years of age who enjoy playing and learning in a friendly, stimulating and secure environment cared for by a bevy of experienced staff.

At this early age we are laying the foundation stones upon which the children's later education will be built, so we take particular care to ensure that every child has the opportunity to develop and progress at their own pace.

We want the children to leave our care happy, confident and eager to learn, with a profound sense of well-being and a healthy respect for others. A well deserved award for our manager Lisa Windebank
