Fees at St. James Park Road Nursery
Fees are £3.70 per hour in the main nursery and £3.80 per hour in the baby unit.
All fees to be paid either monthly or weekly in advance.
We accept childcare vouchers and there is also the option to set up standing order payments if desired.
Nursery Opening Hours
The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm Monday through to Friday and Children may come for all day, part of a day, or just a morning or afternoon session.
Morning Sessions are from 9am to 12noon
Lunch is from 12.15pm to 12.45pm*
Afternoon Sessions are from 1pm to 4pm

PLEASE NOTE: We close on Bank Holidays and for up to two weeks at Christmas. However, the nursery is open during the rest of the school holidays.
*Children in the nursery who come all day or who stay at the nursery over mealtimes may bring a packed lunch or tea with them. Alternatively, the nursery offers a meal option (lunch or tea) for £1 per meal. Menus are displayed in the nursery.
Free Nursery education
The government has provided funds so that all 3 and 4 year olds can have 5 sessions of nursery education for 38 weeks each year. This is called the government educational grant.
A child is entitled to start free nursery education in the term after he or she is 3 years old. This means that for 38 weeks your child can come for 3 hours every morning or 3 hours every afternoon each week without paying. If your child comes more often, then you will have to pay for the extra time.
Children who come every day will have 6 hours each day free for 2 days and an additional 3 hours each week. Any extra hours must be paid for.
